EDA (Essentials Development Academy) is proud to partner with The Club at Woodbridge as our official facility partner. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to providing a premier training environment where athletes can develop, compete, and thrive. With access to top-tier facilities and a supportive community, EDA continues to elevate the standard for player development both on and off the ice.
Classroom
EDA is committed to developing the complete student-athlete, which is why we provide a dedicated classroom space supported by a full-time educator. By prioritizing education alongside athletic development, EDA fosters the habits and mindset needed for long-term success both in the classroom and beyond.
Ice Surface
Our facility features a full-size 200’ x 85’ ice sheet at the Club at Woodbridge, providing elite-level space for training and development. With access to ice throughout the day, EDA has the flexibility to structure sessions as needed—maximizing repetition, pace, and creativity. This freedom allows us to tailor on-ice development to each athlete, ensuring the highest standard of skill progression and performance growth.
Training Facility
Our full-service fitness center is built to support elite-level development at every stage. Equipped with a complete range of free weights, athletes have everything they need to build strength, power, and durability. The space also features wind bikes and a variety of conditioning tools to push endurance and performance, along with access to turf for dynamic off-ice training and movement work. Combined with all the essential equipment found in a modern gym, our facility provides a comprehensive environment for total athletic development.
Shooting Room
Our state-of-the-art synthetic ice shooting room is built for skill repetition and refinement. Designed to mirror on-ice feel, this space allows athletes to dial in shooting, stickhandling, and puck control with purpose and precision. Every rep is intentional—focused on developing quick releases, better hands, and game-ready execution. It’s where details are sharpened, confidence is built, and elite skill work happens off the ice.
